Terms and Conditions

All items are original, uncoloured copper-engravings unless stated, published at or around the date specified.  "Original colour" means that the print was coloured by hand at the time of publication; "old colour" is close to contemporary.  Measurements are to the platemark unless stated, height by width.

Each item is in good condition unless notes to the contrary.  Care has been taken to itemise flaws:  often this leads to the defects being over-stated.  However, if a buyer is unsatisfied for any reason he may return any item for a full refund of the purchase price, provided it is sent back within seven days at the expense of the buyer, properly wrapped and insured.  All items will be sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.

All items are offered subject to prior sales.  Orders can be made by telephone, fax, e-mail or letter, and will be dealt with in strict order of receipt.  Payment must be made in £ sterling, either on a personal cheque or banker's draft, by Visa or Mastercard, or by wire transfer (details on request).

Postal Charges

All maps will be sent by Recorded Mail, at the customer's expense, unless otherwise agreed.  It is recommended that more valuable items be sent by Federal Express for additional security.
