Detailed steel line engraved map on paper in elaborate 19th century gothic style. Originally produced to accompany Thomas Moule’s part work series “English Counties Delineated” published between 1830-36. Later the maps appeared in Barclay’s Dictionary. There are vignette views of Cashiobury and St. Albans Abbey.
Measures approx 200 x 260 mm. Good condition, narrow right margin.
